Pandavkada is right inside Kharghar, New Mumbai, which makes it one of the easiest waterfalls to get to — no long train ride, no real trekking. It's also called Kharghar Waterfall or Pandu Waterfall, and the fall itself drops from over 100 meters. It looks incredible once the monsoon kicks in, but I'll be honest, it's also one of the most dangerous waterfalls near Mumbai. The water rises fast without warning and there have been fatal accidents here almost every year, so the authorities usually put up a ban during peak monsoon. Please just view it from the designated viewpoint and don't go near the base or the rocks.
How to reach
It's about 30 km from central Mumbai. There's no entry fee. The nearest station is Kharghar, just 7 km away, and if you're flying in, Navi Mumbai Airport is around 16 km from here.

02) Yeoor Waterfall

Yeoor Waterfall is located in Yeoor, Thane West, inside Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It's open from 7 am to 6 pm, so plan your visit within that window. Entry from the Upvan side costs around 30 to 50 rupees per person. It's worth knowing this is dense jungle territory, and locals do talk about accidents in the area, so it's best not to go alone. Leopards are spotted here fairly often too.
How to reach
Yeoor is 35 to 40 km from Mumbai. The nearest railway station is Thane. From Thane, buses cost around 25 rupees per person, or you can hire an auto or private vehicle for around 100 to 150 rupees. By road, head to Thane West and take a left toward Pokharan (Upvan Lake) — that route leads you to Yeoor.

03) Kondeshwar (Dhangar) Waterfall

Kondeshwar (Dhangar) Waterfall is in Badlapur city, close to both Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, in the Matheran hill range. Kondeshwar Waterfall is also known as Dhangar Waterfall, and it takes its name from the Kondeshwar Mandir sitting right beside it.
How to reach
Take a Central Railway train toward Badlapur, Karjat, or Khopoli and get off at Badlapur station. From Badlapur West, share autos run to the waterfall. By road, take the Badlapur-Karjat road, drive till Badlapur, then turn right toward the waterfall.

04) Dhodhani Waterfall

Dhodhani Waterfall sits in the Matheran range on the Panvel side, near Dhodhani village in Panvel Taluka. It's rain-fed, and you can also do water rappelling here — operators for that are easy to find online.
How to reach
Dhodhani stays away from the usual crowds. It's about 80 km from Mumbai, 140 km from Pune, and just 20 km from Panvel. Whether you're coming from Mumbai or Pune, head to Panvel first, then drive toward Dhodhani village, or take a train to Panvel station and grab a private auto or car from there.

It's about 5 km from Bhivpuri railway station. Autos will get you to the nearest village, and you'll walk the rest. Take a Karjat or Khopoli train to reach Bhivpuri, or by road, follow the Mumbai-Karjat route — the village comes just before Karjat. It's roughly a 100 km trip from Mumbai.
